And this year, he's giving away two Super Bowl tickets to the North Florida Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to show his solidarity.

Raising money for diabetes research
Chick, who was diagnosed with diabetes when he was 14, is asking the organization to leverage the tickets in order to raise money for diabetes research and advocacy. The first 50 people who make a donation to JDRF of $200 or more will be entered into a drawing to win seats at the Super Bowl, which will be played Feb. 3rd at the New Orleans Superdome.
"Although I am able to live out my dream of playing in the NFL, it is still a challenge to live with this disease," Chick said in a press release. "Still to this day I need to constantly check my blood sugar and take insulin until we can find a cure."
The contest runs through Tuesday, Jan. 29th, and the winners will be selected at random by Joe Romano, JDRF Board President.
To enter, call (904) 739-2101.
More information about the JDRF can be found on their website.
